The role:


  • Provide courteous, accurate and timely advice to all participants in the WorkCover Scheme on premium-related issues.
  • Achieve agreed levels of customer service
  • At all times, make decisions and provide advice in line with WorkCover legislation and policies and delegations.
  • Ensure premiums are correctly calculated in accordance with legislation
  • Proactively work within a team environment and actively contribute to team goals.
  • Show concern for all aspects of the job by accurately following processes and tasks and check output for accuracy and completeness.
  • Clarify details and ensure legislative, internal guidelines and workflow processes are followed.
  • Actively participate in a premium-specific Call Quality Program focusing on first call resolution and demonstrated sustainable improvements

The candidate:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management qualities with an ability to plan and prioritise effectively to complete assigned tasks
  • Quality orientation and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the Workers Compensation environment, particularly within a Managed Fund context
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organisation
